Shoreline Container utilizes a computerized RiteSize
machine to meet small, quick order requirements. No quantity is too small with custom
RiteSize orders as small as 1 pc. available the same day.
This program is perfect for small prototype runs or
situations where bale quantities create inventory difficulties.
Shoreline Container has two locations totaling 120,000
square feet of warehouse space. Shoreline utilizes a sophisticated database to accomplish
warehouse solutions for its customers. A variety of warehouse programs can be customized
to meet individual account needs.
KANBAN - Synchronous delivery process by which deliveries
are timed to customer usage patterns.
Automatic Run Up - 90 day usage are analyzed to create
optimum manufacturing quantities and held in inventory for immediate customer release.
Split Ship - Orders are split to achieve maximum economies
at minimal warehouse costs.
EDI Release / Interface - Computer generated releases are
transmitted and processed via Electronic Data Interchange.
Shoreline Container utilizes its' own fleet of trailers
running two shifts delivering throughout Western Michigan and neighboring states to
accommodate our customers logistical requirements.
Our customers can also take advantage of our Advance
Shipping Notifications through use of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
I.S.T.A. and ISO 9001 certified packaging lab with computer
aided design and sample making. ECT drop, vibration, and compression testing available.
Experience in returnable and expendable package design including paper, plastic and foam
applications.
EDI and EDIFACT technology gives us the ability to receive
orders electronically for Purchase Orders, Purchase Order Changes, Order Status Forecast
Planning, Acknowledgments, and Advance Shipping Notice transactions.
